Update Spring 2020: The fan won't come on unless I hit the bottom of the engine under the dash. When it finally turns on, the fan speed fluctuates constantly. So it's a much cheaper option than the dealership, but it will only last a couple of years. Original Spring 2018: I installed this on my 2012 Honda Accord EX-L in about 5 minutes. My old fan made a loud click/hum like a light airplane taking off. I think the bearing has failed and is out of balance. You will spend at least $175 to have a mechanic replace the fan motor. Even a relative who works in an auto parts store couldn't buy me this motor for less than $80. This is by far the cheapest option and works great after a few weeks. Go to YouTube and find a step by step guide on how to install a fan motor in your car. It's about 4 screws and couldn't be easier (at least on my model). Highly recommended.
