Very quiet, perfect fit

I bought another (slightly cheaper) fan for my '07 FJ Cruiser and it was very loud. I returned it to Revane and got this one. It is quieter than the original factory fan. Very satisfied, the squeak is gone. Just three screws to remove and replace. An 8mm socket is required to pull it out. Very easy to replace for anyone. It is located under the glove box on the passenger side. Work 5-10 mins.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Loudness

Better than the original

Replaced the factory installed fan on my 2013 Chrysler 200. As with most Chrysler 200's we had the infamous actuator click from the start. The clicking stopped after installing this fan - I can't tell you why. I removed the fan and resistor just for diagnostic purposes. I just changed the cabin filter as it was behind the glove box. The air conditioning was like new and works great. The warranty for this fan is also better than other brands.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Not the best

Perfect fit for my 2012 Honda Accord EX-L

Update Spring 2020: The fan won't come on unless I hit the bottom of the engine under the dash. When it finally turns on, the fan speed fluctuates constantly. So it's a much cheaper option than the dealership, but it will only last a couple of years. Original Spring 2018: I installed this on my 2012 Honda Accord EX-L in about 5 minutes. My old fan made a loud click/hum like a light airplane taking off. I think the bearing has failed and is out of balance. You will spend at least $175 to have aโ€ฆ

Direct replacement for 2011 Ram 1500

The cabin fan in my truck made an odd clicking noise at high speed for a long time, but only at the lowest fan speed. A strange "fairy smoke" smell started coming out of the vents this week, so it's time for a swap. This TYC unit arrived quickly, is a very exact copy of a stock part and was probably one of the easiest swaps I've ever done on a vehicle. Heck, some engine air filter housings take longer to open than this thing. On my truck, a Torx20 screwdriver quickly undid the three screwsโ€ฆ
