Air conditioning turned on and strange smell. So I bought this for my 2017 Traverse. Two manual screws to remove the glove box and four latches to remove the lid. Pay attention to the direction of the arrow on the old one. The air flow must be directed downwards. Pull out the old one. Get a new one. Grab the lid. For the glove box, insert the plastic rack into the gear housing and add the hand screws. Now fresh clean air!
