We needed soft corners for our square fire pit - the sharp metal corners tore through our waterproof coating. Put these little guys on and voila! No tears anymore. Easy to stick on metal. Very sticky. Hopefully they can handle the residual heat from a fire pit, but if not, there's more in the package.
