I fell in love with the fun design of this collar and just bought my first one. The mechanism that lets you adjust the strength of the emergency lock really sucks, it "exploded" a few days after I attached it to my cat (I had the setting set to medium). I assumed it was an accident; I thought the rest of the collar was so well designed and of good quality that the locking mechanism must be ineffective; but the thing is so cheap that i didn't even think to ask for a replacement collar; I just went ahead and ordered a new one; bad mistake, the new collar came and broke the same as the first one, about the same time. Very trashy, do not buy.
