I don't know what to say about the freshness of bird seeds? I'm not a bird but seeing is believing before I bought this bird seed product I had the cheapest bird seed at Walmart. in a few days I had not only my usual Central Texas birds in the feeder, but also a whole flock of finches. As far as I know, I'm not in goldfinch territory now? So do your research after a week of this bird seed that just sits in the bird feeder. I haven't seen a single bird on this seed. Don't waste your money paying a stupid tax. This central Texas birdseed is a huge waste of money. I guess I'll just go back to Wild birds Unlimited. You absolutely know the seed for a particular area. The best customizable bird seeder for the money. Or, if you're short on cash, Walmart's cheap bird seeds will give you all your beautiful songbirds and more to look at, and bring that number back down after a crazy day.
