I bought this product to hold my Apple Pencil to make it easier to find when I take it out of my briefcase and it works well. I'm glad I bought it. Two things I will highlight. First, the holder won't lay flat unless it's holding the pen. So when you lay the iPad down to write with a pencil, this bracket will slightly raise one side of the iPad. It's not necessarily bad, but it's something to be aware of. This makes it awkward to write in portrait mode, but writing in landscape mode is doable, and some might even like having one side of the iPad slightly elevated. Second, the holder will slightly loosen the grip of the pencil. It still works. In the end it works for me and I'm glad I bought it.
