Review on Delta Creative Stencil Stencils SM97 0790 by Tara Ford

I bought this template to use as a pattern for embroidering baby bibs and blankets. I figured if all goes well I might get a few more of these. But when I tried to trace the inside with a fabric marker, the lines on the inside were so thin I couldn't get the exact shape. The lion's muzzle is too big and the mane too small. I haven't embroidered since the 1980's and that's when my mom told me the cheapest way to get decent patterns was to buy a kids coloring book and pull out the best pages. After my frustrating experience with this template, I returned to the internet. I haven't had much luck when I searched for free patterns, but when I searched "coloring pages for kids" I got more adorable patterns free than I will ever need. I do have to pierce the pattern to attach the fabric marker, but I've done this before and already know it works. In short, for embroidery purposes, this template is both unsatisfactory and wasteful.
