Cheap Faulty Hardware
The bolts that came with the compressor are of poor quality and do not meet torque specifications. The high pressure hose detached from the compressor at the point where it was attached to the compressor with the screw provided. I had to remove the studs from the old compressor to get to the torque specs so the hose wouldn't come loose again. Made a mess under the hood and in the garage! Had to go back and pay for another air conditioning service.
