I have installed other wireless camera systems before this is the hardest part, the cable length is too short to install/pass through the trunk, you have to wire the cable cut off to lengthen it. The signal from the receiver to the monitor is terrible, the distance to the receiver is 5 feet and there is too much interference for the connection. Picture quality with connection is mediocre, no problem in daylight but a bit dim, the monitor screen is completely black
