Q-Snap frame is best for me for cross-stitching after slicing bread! I've been sewing for over 30 years and I love it! It's so light, easy to hold and handle, and portable. What I had before was a wooden cross stitch stand to keep the fabric taut because I didn't like using hoops and the folds they make. The wooden stand I have is bulky, doesn't fit all fabric sizes, and is becoming difficult for me to see with my aging eyes. This frame holds the fabric without creating those horrible creases. I wish I had found this many years ago!
