I've long been a fan of electric toothbrushes. Oral B 7000 Pro is great for keeping my teeth clean. A timer that vibrates to move you to a different area of your mouth keeps you on track with the recommended 2 minutes per brush. In addition, the clock, which also serves as a clock in the bathroom, also shows the cleaning time. It's easy to switch between different modes, and the overpower warning also helps keep your gums healthy. Where I find the 7000's shortcomings is in the battery life and charging times. The battery lasts about 30 minutes. That means if you brush your teeth twice a day for the recommended 2 minutes, you'll get 7 days of usage. In fact, they couldn't put more charge into it. Also, it takes 24 hours to fully charge. You feel like Oral B's energy management is stuck in a time warp. Revain appears to have ordered large numbers of these and kept them in stock for months. I ordered my toothbrush at the end of November and it came with a coupon for brush heads that expired last March, 8 months ago.
