We needed a fan for our little one when he rides in his bike trailer. Living in southern Mississippi, it's hot 360 days a year! He loves to ride his bike, but by the end of our rides, the poor chap turns bright red and sweaty. After reading a few reviews and looking at pictures I decided to buy this fan. Fan: The fan itself is a good size, medium sized in my opinion. There are 4 speeds controlled by a button next to the power button. I tried the highest setting and after a few minutes of riding we had to reduce the speed to 2 because it was too strong for our little rider. It's not that bad, say, for adults, but it was too much for him (no hit to the product). We placed it about 2-3 feet from his face. The fan itself is quiet, especially on 2, which is great when you realize our little fella is trying to enjoy the sounds of nature. It has a good amount of twist and turn so finding the right angle for it wasn't a problem. Legs: So I have a GoPro stand with the same legs as this product but it doesn't work as well as these. We've put about 35 miles on our bikes so far with the fan wrapped around the trailer arm and it holds the grip well. They feel well built and seem like they will last us a long time. Battery: As I said, I haven't had this very long so I can't say if the batteries are really great, but I like it. they are rechargeable. There the charging cable is as usual as it comes. So if you lose your cable, you're bound to have an extra one or two lying around at home. And it's great! Conclusion: I'll update this review in a few months if I find any major issues or if it's still a big fan. At the moment I can recommend this fan for outdoor use without hesitation. It is approved for toddlers and parents who ride bikes.
