Review on Automotive Electrical Connector Terminal Motorcycle Replacement Parts by Josh Hamler

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Seem great for car lights and audio

They seem to work well with Molex crimping tool and 18AWG wire, may need to adjust tool to 16AWG or use a different crimping tool - haven't tried it yet. I've read some negative reviews about these kits due to the lack of instructions, so here's a quick guide: Crimping with the right tool. Don't solder. The large tabs at the ends of the terminals crimp the wire insulation, while the smaller tabs closer to the center crimp the conductor. Position the brass connector retaining tabs to the key sides of the plastic housings as shown; they fall in place. The terminals can be removed from the housings by inserting a small flathead screwdriver into the front of the plug (the side opposite the wire) and pressing on the retaining tab, pulling the wire out from the back.
