This is a good quality soap dish *IF* you use small soap bars. The standard size soap bars which are the dominant size in most grocery stores will not fit into this case, as I sadly found out when I received the case. You have to lay the bar with one side off the edge. So, if you use small bars, they will fit, but if you use the standard soap bar size, this case is too small.It's a pity, because it is actually a good quality case, particularly for its price point. Water drains from the wet soap bar into the case, collecting underneath in the attached "catch" bottom piece. THis is great because it eliminates the mess of soap running all over the counter top. When assembled, one can hardly tell it is actually a two-piece item. Every once and a while, you pop the bottom off, rinse it out with hot water and maybe use a washcloth to scrub it a bit, pop it back on, and you're ready to go.This would have been an EASY five-star item had they not made the case too small for most soaps. As it is, the most I can give it for this oversite is four stars. However, if you do use smaller sized soaps, it IS a five-star item for quality, functionality, and price.
