Our floors are made from wood that is approximately 170-200 years old and we have chosen a water based finish to ensure they retain their natural color and shine. The people who finished them said we should never use anything other than LOBA floor cleaner on them, and that's exactly what we're doing. I confess: I find it difficult because it has no smell, I like a clean smell to feel like I'm really cleaning. But it makes floors look great and it's very easy to mix right in the mop. It doesn't get much easier than that.
