Review on ๐Ÿ’“ Enhanced Health Monitoring: Withings ScanWatch - Hybrid Smartwatch with ECG, Heart Rate Sensor & Oximeter by Joe Mendez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice health monitor.

I personally like this watch better than the pictures. I chose the black model. Came in a nice wool case with charger. I'm 5ft 9in, 160lbs and 42mm looks really nice on my wrist. Notifications are easy to read on the screen and you can stop scrolling by turning the crown and read them at your own pace. However, they cannot be returned, answered or called with the watch, which is fine with me as I received it for the sole purpose of tracking atrial fibrillation and doing a medical EKG. Other health-related features are good too, like sleep cycle and breathing disorder monitoring, Spot O2, and exercise tracking. It also syncs with multiple fitness apps. The strap that comes with it is soft and comfortable, I wear the watch day and night except in the shower or jacuzzi. I was without a charge for a week and still have 50% battery. It would have taken longer if I had initially resisted playing with him. Now for the cons. The app seems to disconnect from the watch quite often, especially when I'm more than 10-15 feet away or the app doesn't appear on the screen for a while. I keep the Health Mate app running in the background all the time to get notifications. While the strap is comfortable, it's a little harder to put on with one hand than it should be. This is partly due to how soft and flexible it is. I'll get some spare bands to change in my free time. If they could improve the connection of the watch to the smartphone, especially for receiving notifications without the app running and/or improve the connection between the app and the watch, that would be a 6 star product!
