This product is amazing too! I don't know how I'm the only person who found it. First, let me say that I work for a medium/large law firm and our organization has offices in several states. Part of my work in IT is inventory tracking. This used to be a big problem, but lately it has become almost impossible. Recently our inventory process has changed and now I need to trace inventory back to keyboards and mice. If you don't want to pick up every keyboard you come across and flip it over to write down the serial numbers, I suggest you buy this unit. This product helps me a lot here. I have tested several barcode/QR code scanners and they are not all the same. One of them will get very small QR codes to read where others just don't work. In our office, the monitor is mounted on stands and it is easy to capture information with this scanner. My old option was to take those monitors away or use my phone to take pictures which, to be honest, were blurry and unreadable at times. Not to mention that I had to re-enter the information when I got a good picture! I sync the scanner to my iPhone, open the Notepad app and use a simple template, click and scan, later I send those notes to my computer and cut and paste the serial number. My rough plan is to send this device to my POC in other offices and ask them to provide information for my office on how I do, sync and scan. It will save us a lot of time and effort and streamline the whole process. You can see from my photos that it is well made and feels good in my hand, there is a nice cover attached to the charging port. I have attached a picture of one of the QR codes I need to scan, the camera on my phone is having trouble catching it but the scanner has no problem! I had some sync issues when I first got the scanner, but the customer service has been fantastic. In fact, they contacted me shortly after I ordered the scanner and before I received it. You answer all questions you have promptly and politely. Finally, I wanted to mention the battery life, when you get the scanner it comes with a code to set sleep timers and sounds and other settings. I turned off the sleep timer and left it for the day, and when I came back it was still 90% charged. I've been using it for a week and haven't charged it yet, oh and it was fully charged when I received it.
