Review on Restore Glass Alkaline Water Pitcher by Shannon Connolly

I waited 8 months and several filter changes before writing this review. ADVANTAGES: - Delicious water - Convenient filtered water. I also have an additional filter that filters out 0.01 microns, which is way better than what you get with the Brita or Pur. - No plastic CONS: - Yes, my lid got moldy, I even wiped it down with a towel between uses. . I deduct a star for that. But an email to their customer service team and I was sent a replacement metal lined cap. I've had a new case for 6 months now and no problems. According to their social media all jugs will now have this new lid but not sure if this applies to orders through Revain although it might be worth checking with them before ordering. TASTE: If you don't like the taste right away, don't do it. Don't worry, it will mature in 2-5 days. After every filter change I am reminded how strong the flavor is early in the filter life but I like it and after a few days the flavor goes down to zero even if you throw away the recommended 2-3 jugs after filter changes. One thing I didn't read here in the description (maybe I missed it) but saw in the instructions that there should be enough filtered water in the jug to cover the bottom of the filter. I was hoping to use this pitcher to track how much water I'm drinking throughout the day and hope it runs out at a certain time, but to keep the bottom of the filter submerged I need to Refill pitcher every time I fill it up. my water bottle so it never gets completely empty. Not critical, but a minor inconvenience. So if you are looking for a jug filter that can filter down to 0.01 microns and is not made out of plastic, I would highly recommend this jug.
