Great for beginners painting!

I previously ordered a more standard/expensive sprayer and returned it on a whim based on Homeright's good reviews. This article will not disappoint you! This was my first time using a sprayer so I have no other basis for comparison; HOWEVER, this sprayer made my bathroom vanity look like a professional job. Right out of the box it was very easy to use. Pros: * Professional finish for beginners * Ready to use * Lightweight and ergonomically better than other brands I've tried * Sprays more types of paint than large, similarly priced brand box sprayers Cons: * Sprayer is not heavy duty (and not advertised as such) , so diluting the paint to the right viscosity is a bit of a chore *Uses a lot more paint than rollers *Doesn't come with a lid to make a paint can, it's a chore between coats Time-saving tip: 32oz paint spray sheets are your friends! The paint may not stay in the sprayers long enough for the coat to dry and for you to proceed to the second round. That means it's best to clean the atomizer between shifts. At first I thought, man, that sucks. This poses a problem because, as I mentioned, 1) the spray bottle doesn't have a cap to store the paint, and 2) you need clean water in the spray bottle to clean your gun. * How did I solve this problem? I lined my mug with liners, then turned the top between layers, secured with zip ties, and stuffed into a large plastic bag (secured to prevent spills - learned the hard way with gray paint all over the kitchen counter). This allowed me to easily fill the atomizer with clean water (without having to buy an extra one) and quickly clean the gun. When it came time to apply another coat, I just popped the bag back in, stirred the paint, and got to work! I hope this helps someone!

Pros
  • 3 BRASS SPRAY NOZZLES: Brass spray tips provide superior performance over plastic counterparts. Use tip 4.0mm (red) for primer/latex paint, 2.0mm (green on gun mounted) for latex and chalk paint and 1.5mm (blue) for stain and sealer.
Cons
  • Damaged
