Misalignment and Bending
Small shaft/trunnion misaligned so slightly that the screw cannot be threaded. It's hard to explain but the bottom line was the part was damaged... I had to use a longer bolt and nut from the outside to install it and also had to straighten the small tab. horrible experience, literally a screw and it was supposed to take 5 minutes to replace but instead it was an hour. Honda Element 2003 awd 5spd would like a refund but unfortunately on the car now.
