Review on ๐Ÿšด Cycling Wind Noise Reducer: AirStreamz by Kory Shelton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

When installed correctly, AirStreamz works as advertised.

Before you start your journey, make sure you have positioned your AirStreamz correctly. This varies from person to person and it may take some time before you know the best position to wear it. I strapped them to my helmet and cranked a simple table fan on high about six inches from my face. When they are in the perfect position for your face and helmet, you MUST hear a significant reduction in wind noise. This becomes even more apparent when you get out of the car and start driving. Although initially they were in the right place, after a few weeks of riding (I ride between 15 and 40 miles a day) I noticed that they were just as effective as when I first bought them. After sliding them up and down in every possible position, I found that the straps on my helmet had shifted. So I had to take my helmet off, resize it and try again and again until they were in the right position. I highly recommend once you find the spot that works best for you, take a photo of your face profile for future reference. While they can be finicky as hell, I think it's worth the effort if positioned correctly. Now I can really hear the music while driving, and I hear the cars better too because the wind doesn't drown them out. My only complaint is that they seem a bit small. I'm pretty sure the user experience could be greatly improved if they were made a bit bigger.
