I ordered these after looking forward to them being available in the 13 inch size. I received them earlier than expected and they were great. prepared after reading the reviews but wow this is really overwhelming. I was planning to use it in my Ikea Kallax Cube baby storage so I hide it after airing it for a day or two and spraying on some fabric spray to make the smell go away.. Otherwise I wouldn't be comfortable storing it feel, because why do they smell like that in the first place? So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I don't send them back as this is exactly what I was looking for. I will post an update in a few days. .Update: 9/17 Someone from the company got in touch hoping to get to the bottom of the stench but here I am still trying to air them out later but at this point I'll probably have to go back, they still smell awful :-(Update 9/23/20 I gave them another chance hoping it was an isolated case. They asked for a replacement not a return. New tanks received they have the exact same smell. Awful! They came back in the box and will be returned for a refund.I wish they didn't have that smell because they look amazing and so cute but the smell renders them useless.Very disappointed.
