This is a poorly made plastic knockoff of an old style coffee grinder. I've used it twice just to test it out and decided it makes a better display piece than a functional apparatus. It felt like it was going to break when I was using it. Gears for grinding the coffee are plastic not metal and when you turn the crank to grind it feels like it will snap in your hand. This is a cheap knockoff product of something I have actually used the real 1800's type grinder. If I'd had any brains when my grandma died I'd have kept hers instead of this plastic crap knock off.
