Dimmer flickers well for electrics
I have no comparative experience with other brands of downlights as this is the first downlight I've installed. But for now I'm happy with the light. Easy to install and had no issues with flickering or anything like that. I have 8 lights in an 18x20 room, two rows of four, each light spaced 5-6 feet apart which is just the right amount of light for the room. But I have a 500K daylight color setting, I haven't tried other color settings. I also hooked up a Lutron dimmer and no problem. Update, I've just started having problems with the Lutron dimmer flickering. I don't have the exact model.
