Review on 🍝 Silver Traditional Weston Attachment Pasta Machine with Angel Hair Cutter by David Ruwala

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I liked the price and reviews so I chose it

I only made pasta by hand once before I bought it. You can roll out the dough with your hands, but for a very long time. Homemade pasta is worth the extra time. I know I can buy pasta in a box for about a dollar a pound, but the taste of fresh pasta is worth the extra effort. Anyway, I bought this video after watching a few others. I liked the price and the reviews so I went for it. Tonight I made my first dinner with him. I made fettuccine pasta using the included fettuccine maker. So easy! I think the trick is to roll out the dough, fold in quarters and roll out again. I've done this at setting 7 (the biggest gap) about 4 times. I then switched to setting 5 and folded and creased about 3 more times. I then switched to level 3 and folded and folded once. Then I ran the dough through the cutting attachment. As others have said, this is a two person job, someone needs to help guide the dough outwards while it's being rolled out. Another person who helped me was like my 8 year old daughter. She liked to take part in a dinner together. I used my free hand to hold the machine on the counter as I didn't find a good way to use the clamp that came with it. Maybe I'll think about it more next time - I was too excited to start making pasta!
