Review on πŸ“± Black Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Global Smartphone - 6/128 GB by Mateusz Jamroz ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

Excellent value for the money spent. I simply cannot fathom the rationale behind the requirement for a model with increased capability. Except in the case where you mine cryptocurrency. It is also unclear why you would require a more advanced camera that has a hundred megapixels. The majority of images that people still upload on social media platforms like Instagram or Facebook are reduced to the same quality as photos taken with earlier Samsung devices. Due to the fact that each photo weighs 7 megabytes, I am required to utilize an external tool in order to compress it before I can transmit it through the mail at work. It is true that there is a function in the settings that allows the user to artificially reduce the quality of the shot, but it takes a significant amount of time to climb there in order to alter it every time. The verdict can be summarized as follows, in general: This phone was purchased to replace the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact, which, because to its severe fragility, required me to replace the screen four times and the rear panel five times. In the evening, my wife took this phone, messed around with it, and snapped a picture with it. One week later, they went out and got her an identical one. I do not believe that any further commentary is required!

Pros
  • This is the same iPhone X, except it is five times less expensive and does not include any show-off features. The iPhone is superior in every regard except for one: its video recording capabilities are far superior to those of this phone. I've done the research; I am aware that these are not just empty words. Everything from the camera to the screen to the pace is fantastic. Even to this day, I have no idea why Xiaomi continues to produce older models since this one already satisfies all of the contemporary criteria.
Cons
  • ates of the built-in MIUI system, which are routinely issued, arbitrarily modify various settings and do not let you to restore them back to the defaults that they were previously set to. For instance, following the most recent action, the list of applications that have been recently used flipped from being horizontal to being vertical. There is no function that allows me to change back, despite the fact that I would like to. If this is an Android, then I would want to have the flexibility of Android settings rather than iOS, which treats the user as if they are an idiot. If this is an Android, then I would like to have the versatility of Android settings. Even after the ates, the phone will not play the built-in tunes; instead, it will randomly select new ones to play in their place. For instance, if you are accustomed to a particular alarm tune, there is a possibility that you will not awaken because the phone was used in the middle of the night and the melody was altered.
