Of course, nowhere near me do they sell smaller packs of breeder recommended "preferred" food. A 50 pound bag goes to waste with just one rabbit. I could certainly buy smaller quantities from a breeder, but there are inconveniences in getting to their location or shipping costs that make them off-limits. After doing some research, I stumbled across Sherwood and decided to take a chance. Colonel Culpepper was a bit hesitant at first - the shape is different and so is the taste, I think. However, he accepted it like a champ. I like that it doesn't add all the unnecessary fillers. The smell upon opening the bag is SO FRESH. As if I had just entered the Timothy field. The Colonel has since morphed into a grown Sherwood and still enjoys his balls to this day. although he prefers cabbage ;)
