I bought this product in mid-May to make working from home easier. I used it for regular phone calls, not for sports. Unfortunately, in mid-August - after 3 months of use - the connection started to falter and on September 1st the Lightning connector came loose, which led to connection problems. I suppose 3.5 months of usage for less than $20 is acceptable, but I was hoping for more. Durability aside, it's a good product: It had good sound quality, the earbuds were balanced and stuck in my ears better than standard Apple headphones, and the mic controls worked consistently.
