I received this the other day and just played around with it a bit. Absolutely useless without updating the firmware, and this was not an easy task for me. I had no luck with my MacBook, but I did the same on his Windows PC. He said he couldn't find instructions in English so it was difficult but he managed. Before the update the autofocus didn't work, but after that it works fine. It's not super fast, but it gets the job done. I'm planning to use it for my YouTube channel to display reviews, so I wanted something that had a narrow focus and that seems like just the ticket. I'll update this review once I have more time with the camera, but I felt it important to mention the firmware issue as early as possible. If you can't read or translate Chinese, maybe you should think of something else. But if you can solve this problem, you will be satisfied with this item.
