Review on Munchkin Cool Cat 8Oz Stainless Steel Straw Cup, Purple 1 Pack by Kahyin Hawkins

I’m really pleased with this cup for my toddler son. We bought our first one when he figured out straws somewhere around 1 year. I recently purchased a second one for his lunch at Mother’s Day Out, but our first one is still working well.First, it is hard to clean the straw, but I appreciate that because it also does not spill easily. He can throw this one on the ground and no water comes out. I put this cup in my purse/diaper bag with the lid secured and it has never leaked! (We only use this cup for water) It will leak overnight if ice water is left inside and the lid is open, but that’s normal for this type of cup. You can close the lid and it will not leak, but upon opening, it will begin to flow a bit. I find this type of leakage to be acceptable as long as I know it’s coming.The straw for this cup is not an easy flow, which turned out to be a good thing for our new straw user. If the straw were free flowing, he would get too much liquid, which we’ve learned the hard way with other cups. He ends up dripping or choking.I’m also happy with the handles and the insulated design. It’s hard to find that combo in a kids cup. Overall, we’ve been very happy with this cup. We have tried many others that I’ve thrown away or given away, but this one is our winner.
