A great option for this money, one of the best offers.
I don’t understand why they write down the lack of stabilization in the review above as a minus: 1) It would affect the price! 2) In the same Sony A7 II or III series there is a stub. Do you think having it in the lens will improve it significantly? I doubt it . Yes, and not everywhere it was useful Tamron has clearly succeeded in the lens. IMHO, one of the best deals for full frame Sony mirrorless cameras!
Pros
- 1) Sharpness (slightly inferior to Sony FE 24–70 mm F2.8 GM) 2) Price! 3) Well made 4) Very quiet and fast autofocus (during use I didn’t notice the discussed bug, but after the firmware it began to work better in some moments) 5) 5 year warranty
Cons
- Probably only distortion . But it is solved by the same profile in lightroom
