Review on 💧 Pack of 10 YZM White Fittings Bulkhead Connectors for 1/4" Tube Quick Connect RO Water Filters by James Roberts

All fittings tested leak from center. Tested with 3 different whistle brands. Everything leaked. All cuts were clean and perpendicular. I did a little research by taking apart a faucet that doesn't leak and one that does. The difference in the Shore hardness of the O-ring material was immediately noticeable. The working fitting had an o-ring that was shinier and stiffer and didn't deform as easily. While this fitting has matte o-ring, softer and easy to deform. My guess is that due to the softer material, water is being pushed through the o-ring. The inner circumference also seems a bit small for an O-ring. While you might think this would be nice and provide a tighter seal on the outside of the o-ring, it isn't. My guess is that the o-ring is sitting in the fitting at a non-perpendicular angle. It is compressed into an oval shape. Not to mention they cost around 5 cents. Did you really have to rip me off in the clips?
