Review on SRAM Bottom Bracket English Threaded by Jose Miller

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Well worth the money for parts and components

I bought the whole GX groupset separately without a cassette because I wanted to use an NX cassette so I didn't have to change the hub to XD. All components installed and everything works great. I had no problems installing it because I did the necessary research and measurements. You need to know the bottom bracket type and dimensions, whether you have a boost or not, what spacers you use and where (all info is available at SRAM), get a digital caliper and measure. Just make sure you watch the video on how to install these products before buying any components and trying to install the wrong ones. Make sure you have a new good quality derailleur hanger. This is not a beginner's first experience. You know, if you have no idea, and ask anyone, and if you don't know or don't have the right tools, take it to a bike shop. You will need a chain whip, the correct socket and tools to remove your existing cassette and bottom bracket and install the bottom bracket. I used a SRAM DUB BSA Boost+ 68/72mm bottom bracket. I was lucky as it had the right padding for the right side as well as extra padding that I didn't need.
