Solid, but tricky to keep in place
I was hoping to just use force/friction to hold the gate in place, but I gave in and used the screw-based mounts after the gate started sliding and shifting after less than a day. So long as you are willing to have a few small holes in your wall, though, the gate works great.
- The automatic closing feature ensures the gate remains closed, even if accidentally left open
- The gate may be too noisy when opening or closing
