If you only use this for pocket knives or axes it should be fine but it would ruin my razor blade. At this price I wasn't expecting Kanayama or anything, but at least a step above Illinois. It wasn't these 2. I was supposed to take photos but was too busy to bother. Since I shave with my razors and sharpen myself, I won't screw up all that side line work. I thought they looked like a good deal for a 3″ wide strap, but both had serious issues for a wet razor. The trim broke and one jumped into the leather. It also had bulges under the black finish. The second was just an inferior cowhide with lots of texture but also cracks in the paneling and leather. Know what you need it for (thick blade knives and axes, NOT kitchen knives or razors) and try it for yourself and see what comes out. assume?
