I have a small lumber shop and after trying several brands I settled on this as the best value for money. They are used in the 18 inch jet saw used to cut hardwoods, softwoods and sometimes composites. I typically spend time setting up a new blade: rounding the trailing edge with a whetstone, chipping the edges of proud misaligned teeth, playing with the tension to get vibration free, etc. I've found that setting up these blades takes less time than others. I have never encountered a crooked weld. These blades hold the edge very well and I have never had a weld failure.
