Battery life Warning!

I bought the Browning Strike Force HD MAX (2020) trail camera kit back in September 2020, now in December 2020. This camera has already used 18 batteries in 2 months!?! This is madness! Some batteries of all types last a little longer than others, but I had a real problem so I took them home. Let's not forget the many hours wasted with a dead camera tied to a tree. But I digress! Just in case, I immediately popped in 6 brand new Energizer Max batteries out of the box, checked for performance, showed 3 strips, and left them off on the kitchen table. 24 hours later. 1 bar. another 24 hours. The camera is dead! What? Called Prometheus Group, the makers of Browning, as my opportunity to return the camera expired in October. Explained the situation and the support rep asked me what kind of batteries I was using. Energizer Max told him. His answer was not to use Energizer Max, just use Energizer. Excuse me? I was then told how the battery technology works and was informed that the company that makes Energizer (even in competition with Duracell) has since changed their manufacturing processes to extend the shelf life to 20 years. Ok, great, right? No, this is for durability only and is intended to be used in devices such as a remote control that don't use a lot of power! Shame on you Energizer Max because it seems they only make batteries for everything else except the Browning Strike Force HD MAX (2020) trail camera, which just sits on your kitchen counter and is turned off and the life of your product is less than 48 years shortened hours! Does Santa Claus know? As a ding dong, I'm willing to spend $6-8 to buy "Energizer Only" batteries as suggested by the rep and see if it works. Sounds a little suspicious, but believable. If not, they "want" me to send them a camera to look at. Spring. Isn't it special? To be honest I have two other Browning cameras that I've bought over the years that are still in my hunting ground. I haven't had to change these batteries in probably almost 2 years and they have all sorts of brand differences. I like them, they take really good pictures so I'm hoping this 2020 version is just broken or has an issue that Browning can fix if needed. I just can't get over being told that only one type of battery will work in their product. Just take a look. I hope this will be helpful if you buy one or already have one with problems.
