I love these pens.

This was the first time I used soft pastel colors. I love her. I've seen in previous reviews that a lot of people were upset because they were having trouble with their sharpening. They have no wax to hold them together so they cannot withstand a sharpener. They're pretty thin, but that's due to the way they're made. They put on nice layers of pigment that rub right into the tooth of the paper, and that's what they're supposed to do. I love love love these pencils.
