I bought this stand to hold a 23 inch flat screen TV that I am using for a trade show. It's a bit difficult to assemble at first, but it's solid. Since it has to be repackaged and transported from place to place, my son basically took it apart and repackaged the first time I used it, but I decided to just keep it intact and carry it around, reassembling it as it takes too long. to collect it every time I use it. Too many small screws and bolts for that! It should be noted that it is not large, the average line of sight is only about 60 or 62 inches. So when you need something to stand out from the crowd, you're going to want something bigger. I didn't realize it until I bought it, but since I wasn't in town I took it anyway. It can be placed on a sturdy stand to add height, but it can also be placed on a table without being fully extended and that would be nice too (I just don't have room for it on my desk).
