Review on Bridgestone Blizzak Spike-02 SUV 285/50 R20 116T winter by Wiktor Uhlig ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Expectations were not met, average quality.

operated for one season on a Hyundai Tussan that had front-wheel drive. Dimension R16 215/65. Rubber is clearly not suited for use on the track because it is quite noisy (respectively, driving on it soon wears you out), it is unstable at speeds over one hundred miles per hour on my car, and it does not like ruts very much. On the bright side, it rows smoothly in all environments, and the noise is eliminated even on dirty roads. In general, I am able to suggest it to drivers who spend very little time on highways and significantly more time on roads that are not regularly cleaned. You should absolutely use a different type of rubber for the track.

Pros
  • Long-lasting, performs well even in mud, and has predictable stopping power on any surface at city speeds. Not a single spike became dislodged throughout the course of the season.
Cons
  • - noisy. no, NOISY! As soon as I put it on, I was afraid that all four bearings had become damaged. After running it, it got a little bit quieter, but the track that had been cleaned was still very noisy. - after 100 miles per hour, the car is not stable on the track (I would write it off for the deficiencies of my car and front-wheel drive, but this was not the case on the old bald tires); - the automobile does not like the rut very much.
