The tape is no longer needed
I bought it because I unscrewed the metal key part from the remote control. And as soon as I did that, both sides of the remote stopped sticking together. I had to use duct tape to hold them together. I'm so glad I found this! Looks much better and fits very well. Many Thanks. That's great.
