These patches will go away

I bought them to wear shirts for my grandchildren as Christmas presents. I ironed them - but after the first wash they started falling off and one or two came off completely. I had to go through all 7 and hand sew them. Took about 3/4 hours to hand sew but at least they don't come off again.
