I saw a guy at work with a portable external monitor, so I did some research and found Asus. I bought a cheaper version (MB168) as I didn't want to spend a lot of money on experiments. I love it. I'd give it a 5, with some small (and I mean small) exceptions - the cable pulls out of the monitor easily (but that's not a problem), the screen could be a bit brighter (but that's the result of the Model I bought; for twice the price I could get the higher density and brightness that comes with it) and the case angle "most of the time" works - when I'm sitting in a higher chair, like on a regular desktop, I use a tablet stand to a steeper angle instead). It really is a great value at $149. I use it often and carry it with me to all client locations. It works fine with Win/7, Win/8 and Win/10. Haven't tried it with MAC but might in the future (not really needed due to desktop screen size with MAC).
