Review on ILM Winter Alloy Steel Motorcycle 🧤 Riding Gloves - Warm, Waterproof, and Windproof by Derek Jha

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great looking gloves, well padded but run a size or two smaller.

My Sith Red Saber Legion (TSL) Motorcycle Lightsaber Dueling Gloves arrived today! They come in many colors and styles, but I have "ILM Alloy Steel Motorcycle Gloves Warm Waterproof Windproof for Winter Use (L, RED (WINTER))". PROS: 1) They look cool! The red looks good for the Sith so I'm also changing all the red pads (except the neck, haven't found a red gorget or helm yet) so I can be a Sith Lord in TSL. 2) They have a lot of padding all over including the fingers, all joints and even the wrist. You can see not only the plastic and metal knuckles and finger guards, but also the padding, because these are winter gloves. They have more padding than my other motorcycle gloves, which (unlike these) are summer. 3) You look cool! 4) You look cool! 5) And did I mention they look cool? LOLNEUTRAL (positive or negative, you decide): 1) They claim that the main knuckle pads are made of "steel alloy" but it's not steel because even my strongest magnets aren't attracted to them. Knowing different metals I can say it's aluminum, but that's fine because aluminum doesn't rust and it's lighter (1/3 the weight for the same thickness, 1/2 the weight for the same strength). CONS: 1) Shipping was slow (21 days!) because although they are sold on Revain they were shipped from China. 2) Like most gloves from China, they run small so you must order AT LEAST one. Size is larger than usual. I have below average small hands (hands like a 12 year old boy) so for American gloves I always order medium and there is room, but for Chinese made gloves I have to order large or extra large (I won't speculate why, for fear of calling me a racist). Based on my experience with other Chinese gloves I ordered Large instead of Medium this time but they still barely fit! The right glove is very tight when new (the left glove fits perfectly) but once broken in it's fine. If you have medium sized hands, go for X-Large, if you have small hands, go for Large like mine, and if you have big hands, go for XX-Large, maybe even skiing, but for TSL duels that means that they don't have to breathe to break a sweat.
