I have previously used Lodge Care's cleaning brush which was decent but the bristles started to bend making the pan difficult to clean. And then part of the brush separated from the handle. I was excited to try the Yukon Glory scrubber, but having used it once I will not be using it again. Admittedly, my pan wasn't seasoned PERFECTLY, but it definitely wasn't scratched by this scrubber. Yes, it got rid of the stuck egg by seasoning it in the pan. And the egg came off no easier than with a brush. I return to the brushes and plastic scrapers. It may work well with new commercially available cast iron today, but I do not recommend it for reconditioned cast iron. I'm sure this would work great on a badly rusted flea market pan you're looking to restore.
