There are many reviews of this center speaker so I'll be brief. This speaker would not have been my first choice. I was looking for a Definitive Technology speaker that would fit my entertainment center of a certain size. That speaker ended up being the Procenter 1000. I would have preferred a larger speaker given my setup, but I didn't have much of a choice given my size. I ordered the Pro1000 with the intention of returning it because it just couldn't reproduce the sound I wanted to hear. I was wrong. This speaker delivered the sound I needed and more; I couldn't believe the performance of this speaker. I've paired this with PSB speakers and they match perfectly in sound and performance. After a short firing, it really started to shine. Don't let the size of this speaker fool you, it delivers the power and quality you need in a small to medium sized room. I originally wanted a Pro2000 but it was too big for my ENT. Middle, so I had to "stop" at 1000. You can't agree with DT speakers - you get the quality and performance you need, even if you have to downsize. Fear not, believe the home theater enthusiast who is used to performance, this speaker will not disappoint.
