Good straps. The buckles are made of (thin) black painted metal so the color may rub off a bit over time - we'll see. Adjust with a bit of maneuvering through the loops Put the strap on, but it's difficult to thread it back through the hinges to take it off as the back end of the metal end is wider than the front end so it catches on the fabric of the strap hinges get stuck. A good hit with a hammer with a board on the end can flatten it out a bit, but I don't think what the manufacturer had in mind, but woven straps fit old men of different waists!
