As ports change, adapters are required.

I carry several adapters in my laptop bag so I'm prepared for anything I might encounter when connecting to a projector. Now that laptops, iPads, and iPhones have new Apple USB-C ports, I needed a different adapter. I ordered a lention adapter and am satisfied with the quality. It has an HDMI and an RGB connection. I've only recently received it so I can't comment on its durability but its quality is evident and I expect it to last a long time.

Pros

Full Audio Types - HDMI connector audio output types include SACD, DVD-Audio, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby TrueHD. To play audio through an HDMI device, you may need to change the Default Audio Output Device setting on some devices. The VGA port is not designed for audio output
