Ordered for my wife. So I decided to do some kind of experiment and see how well it works. Start with a room temperature cup and water on a pillow to see how long it actually heats the cup. I chose 124F as my target temp. The time and temperature monitoring to signal when it hits 124F took about an hour and a half to get there. I know it's not meant for a cup, but it still had to be heated to keep the drinks warm. As soon as the alarm went off I removed the pillow and now wanted to see how long it would take to get below 100F. So, with the temp probe in the mug and on the cork pad, it took a little over an hour for the water to cool to 100F. So really impressed! Only reason not 5 is because instructions are limited and doesn't explain more about how well this works.
